Starting from your hotel crossing the St. Mark’s basin, we will start to move north to Murano. This island was once a separate city from Venice, even minting its own coins. It grew in population and standing as the glass factories of Venice were moved to Murano over fears of fire in such a densely packed city. Its fame even today comes from its glass factories. We can organize a private visit to one of the larger factories in Murano, where you will see the glass blowers in action and will take the opportunity to work with them side by side . Heading north again we will arrive at Burano. With its own character, brightly coloured houses and lace making .Back to Venice.
